Purpose

This policy describes Lisaiceland DBA's general approach to encryption, transport security, credential handling, secrets management, and protection of sensitive data.

Data in Transit

Lisaiceland DBA services should use secure transport protocols such as HTTPS/TLS where practical for customer-facing applications, APIs, dashboards, documentation, and data transmissions.

Data at Rest

Sensitive data stored by Lisaiceland DBA or its infrastructure providers should be protected using reasonable storage-level, database-level, application-level, or provider-managed safeguards where appropriate.

The specific safeguard varies by data type and system; payment data, for instance, is generally handled through PCI-compliant processors rather than stored directly, reducing the scope of sensitive data Lisaiceland DBA itself retains.

Secrets Management

Credentials, API keys, tokens, private keys, and secrets should not be hardcoded in public repositories or exposed in logs. Access should be limited to authorized systems and personnel.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for protecting their own API keys, passwords, devices, integrations, exported data, and access credentials.

This includes rotating credentials periodically, restricting who on a customer's team has access to production keys, and promptly revoking access for departing team members.

General Legal Terms

No Absolute Security Guarantee

No security program can guarantee that unauthorized access, misuse, loss, downtime, vulnerabilities, or incidents will never occur. Lisaiceland DBA maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of its products and operations.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers remain responsible for account security, user permissions, secure configuration, lawful data collection, appropriate use of integrations, backup strategy where applicable, and compliance with their own legal and contractual obligations.

Reservation of Rights

Lisaiceland DBA may modify, restrict, suspend, remove, review, or terminate access, workflows, integrations, features, or accounts where needed to protect users, customers, legal compliance, operational security, or platform integrity.

Governing Law

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, this policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
