Purpose

This Fair Use Policy applies to Lisaiceland-hosted Model Context Protocol ("MCP") servers and to MCP endpoints that Lisaiceland exposes through its products and partner integrations. It exists to keep MCP capacity reliable for all customers and to prevent patterns of use that would degrade service quality.

Definitions

  • MCP Server: a Lisaiceland-operated endpoint that exposes tools, resources, and prompts via the Model Context Protocol.
  • Tool Call: a single invocation of an MCP tool, including any retries and follow-up streaming events.
  • Session: a logically connected sequence of MCP requests originating from one client or agent.

Fair Use Limits

Specific quotas are published in the developer dashboard and may vary by plan, region, and tool. Indicative ceilings include:

  • Sustained tool-call rate per account and per agent.
  • Concurrent active sessions per account.
  • Payload size per request and per response.
  • Long-running tool execution time before the session must yield.

Lisaiceland may adjust these limits to protect availability and may publish updated values in the dashboard.

Prohibited Patterns

  • Tight retry loops that ignore standard backoff signals or error responses.
  • Scripted scraping of MCP resources beyond the intended interactive use.
  • Distributing a single account's credentials across many independent clients to evade limits.
  • Using MCP endpoints to power third-party services that re-sell raw MCP capacity without authorization.

Throttling and Suspension

Lisaiceland may throttle, queue, downgrade, or temporarily suspend MCP access that exceeds fair-use limits or threatens platform stability. Where practical, Lisaiceland will provide structured error responses (such as 429 Too Many Requests with Retry-After) so that well-behaved clients can recover automatically.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Implement client-side backoff and respect Retry-After and rate-limit headers.
  • Cache tool responses where appropriate to reduce redundant calls.
  • Monitor usage from the dashboard and route excess load through approved batch interfaces.
  • Notify Lisaiceland in advance of large campaigns, migrations, or anticipated traffic spikes.

Security and Abuse

MCP servers are subject to the same security obligations as the rest of the platform, including the Acceptable Use rules in the Terms of Service and the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy. Suspected abuse may be reported through Support | Get Help.
